Welcome the Florida Education Purchasing Consortium (FEPC)
The Florida School Board Association and the Florida Association of District School Superintendents (“the Associations”) have joined together to administer the creation of a new group buying organization to maximize school districts' purchasing strengths. Delegates from the Associations and several leading School Districts serve as the Board of Directors for the Florida Education Purchasing Consortium (FEPC) to direct the procurement efforts of participating Members, thus allowing the largest potential market to leverage district purchase power at the point of pricing.
A Lead Agency from among the participating members will issue the solicitation, accept and evaluate responses, address any concerns or protests, and monitor the contract. The FEPC Board will not issue solicitations or contract with vendors.
The FEPC provides for the communication and implementation platform for its Members to address their mutual needs in a cooperative environment.
The FEPC is currently made up of 21 participating Districts. We anticipate continued growth in participants as our financial savings goals are realized.
